Nice to see that the Victorian Fishing Authority is trying to encourage more women into the sport, or to highlight women that enjoy the sport, through the Women in Recreational Fishing Network.
At this stage, the Network is just a Facebook group, and some events and a scholarship program, but it’s a start.
It’s better to promote this kind of Network than just seeing women in bikinis holding large fish, which they probably didn’t catch.
