Refuge Cove

by CuzzyBro
With COVID-19 lockdowns throughout 2020, we really hadn’t taken the boat out much or explored the Victorian coastline.
So in the break between Christmas and New Year, we took the dogs for a trip to Refuge Cove for a couple of nights. It was their first time on the boat without being able to get off for a couple of days, so it was a good chance to see how they coped.

Refuge Cove was a day trip from Queenscliff, on the Eastern side of Wilson Promontory. It can only be got to by boat, or by foot.

We caught enough flathead one day for a meal, and caught squid another day. No kingfish, unfortunately.

But all things come to an end.
